Dearest Family,
Welcome to 2010, it a year loaded with great potential, capacity, fullness and freshness. We have been blessed with all that God is and has.
The quality of our heart cannot be lightly esteemed in the personal realization of the total package that God has for us this year as it plays a major function in operating in the height of God’s plans and purpose. It is paramount to note we receive God’s best and all when our hearts’ contents and motives are right.
Nothing seems to be right about a man until his heart is right. Any matter that has to do with our hearts will definitely go long way to either build or destroy our lives since our heart houses the issues of our life and we are ultimately the reflection of its content.
It is poisonous to carry fearful, broken, dirty or dark heart as it reduces the rate at which we live, contaminate the life we carry and eventually become our personal reality. In order to maximize 2010, it is best to imbibe the qualities the mega heart described in Philippians 4:8.
I have further defined the characteristics of a Mega Heart below:
They Conceive Creatures – I Kings 4:32-33, Col. 1:16. They do not only conceive creatures, they create the creatures they conceive. It is a deep-thinking heart that thoroughly process thoughts; provide solutions and answers knotty issues. They partner with God’s Spirit to birth policies and systems
They Connect God in Faith – Gen. 15:6, Rom. 10: 10. A heart that believe and always conscious of the God Factor. Fully armed with the capacity of their God, they hook on to His words, and go all out against seemingly contrary circumstance, and become all that God’s word promises.
They Contain People – Ps. 8:4, John 3:16. Permeated with genuine love, they reach out for people and seek to make them become the best they can become in God. They love people not just for what they can get in return, but because they understand love and taken it on as a character.
They Command Authority – Matt. 7:29, Rom. 5:17. He is in dominion of his world; He understands words and their uses. He understands how to use his words to change his world. He is aware that everything has intelligence and responds to words, and he speaks to them so.
They Carry Great Understanding – Ps. 119:99-100, Eccl. 8:5b.They have access to the mysteries of God, and they have mastery over the misery of men. The secrets of God are contained in this heart. They understand proper time and procedure. They know sequence.
They Commensurate with God’s Mega Picture – John 5:19, I Samuel 13:14. The pictures in this heart align with God’s. They seek and work daily to implement God’s big idea on the earth. It is reflected in their thought pattern, it is noticed in their conversations and exhibit in their actions.
They are Circumcised Heart – Deuteronomy 10:16, Deuteronomy 30:6. This is a heart opened to God and free of coverings, unbelief and reservation. A heart covenanted to God to love and revere Him with our body, soul and might.
Hey Family, Think like a pro! Talk Like a god! Fight like a spirit! Do Joshua 17:17! We have the mega capacity to do mega things.
